When screen sharing is enabled on a display, a screen sharing code prompt appears on the display in the lower right corner. Follow the below instructions if you wish to customize the size, style, and/or position of this code.
Prerequisites
- Refer to the main Screen Sharing article for additional information on this feature and its prerequisites.
- Customization of the code only applies when screen sharing in Standard Mode.
Instructions
- Select the Presentation navigation bar.
- Open or add a presentation where the screen sharing code prompt will be customized.
- From the Components
icon, select the Screen Share Code component.
- Position and resize the component in the presentation preview to your liking.
- From the settings, change the text, icon and background colors.
- Publish the presentation and assign it to a schedule to appear on a display.
- Repeat steps 1 to 5 for all other presentations that require the screen sharing code customization.
When that display's screen sharing is enabled, with the Screen Share Code will appear with your customizations. If screen sharing is disabled, the code will not appear.
Behavior Notes

Screen sharing code customization works best when the Standard Mode's setting of Show Session Code on Screen is disabled. This will disable the standard share code from appearing but will not stop the customized code from being shows.
- If Show Session Code on Screen is enabled, both the standard and customized codes will be shown.
- If a presentation with customized screen sharing code is scheduled for multiple displays, only displays with screen sharing enabled will show the customized code appear.
