To use Display Control, you need to connect your TV to the Rise Vision Media Player. You can do this using either HDMI CEC or RS232, depending on what your TV supports. These instructions apply only to the Rise Vision Media Player.
HDMI CEC Connection
- Use an HDMI cable.
- Connect the cable from your TV to the HDMI port labeled HDMI 2.0 in the diagram below.
RS232 Connection
- Use a serial cable.
- Connect the cable from your TV to the COM port on the side of the Rise Vision Media Player
- This allows your TV to communicate with the media player using RS232 control.
