Each Display in Rise Vision show their connection state to help you know if they’re communicating properly with Rise Vision servers. This article explains what each status means and how it affects content playback and updates.
Display Status Options
Online – The Display is connected to Rise Vision and is actively showing content. While Online, it can immediately receive updates, schedule changes, and remote commands.
Offline – The Display is not connected to Rise Vision. It may still show previously cached content, but it won’t receive new updates, schedule changes, or commands until the connection is restored.
Standby – The Display is connected to Rise Vision but is not currently showing content. In this state, it can instantly show emergency alerts or override schedules when triggered.
Behavior Notes
- When the Display goes Offline, Rise Vision will automatically try to reconnect until the connection is re-established.
- If a Display remains Offline for an extended period, review the article Why is My Display Offline? for troubleshooting steps.
