Rise Vision licenses are removed using a Last In, First Out (LIFO) method. This means when licenses are reduced, the most recently assigned Displays will lose their licenses first.
How license removal works
When you reduce the number of licenses in your Rise Vision account, the system automatically removes licenses starting with the most recently licensed Displays.
- The last Display that received a license will lose its license first.
- The process continues in reverse order of assignment until the correct license count is reached.
Example
Suppose your account has:
- 100 total licenses
- 100 Displays currently assigned licenses
If you cancel 2 licenses:
- The 2 most recently licensed Displays will have their licenses removed.
- The remaining 98 Displays will stay licensed.
Why this happens
Rise Vision uses the Last In, First Out (LIFO) method to ensure license adjustments are applied consistently and automatically without requiring manual reassignment.
