The Rise Vision Media Player is a commercial-grade device that supports digital signage, screen sharing, and emergency alerts. Whether you purchase it outright or use Hardware as a Service, setup is quick and easy.
Before You Begin
We recommend setting up your media player at a desk before mounting it in its final location. Once set up, you can move it without needing to reconfigure anything.
If your device didn’t come with a remote, you can connect a USB keyboard and mouse.
Instructions
- Connect the HDMI cable from the Rise Vision Media Player to your monitor.
- Attach the supplied WiFi antenna to the back of the media player.
- Plug in the power cable. The device will power on automatically and launch the Rise Vision software.
- Using the remote or keyboard-and-mouse, select your WiFi network from the list on the left side of the screen and enter your network password. Select Continue.
- Choose your timezone from the list. Then select Continue.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to activate your display:
- Go to risevision.com/activate
- Log in to your Rise Vision account
- Name your display
- Enter the 5-character activation code shown on your screen
- Click Save to finish activation
- After activation, disconnect any USB peripherals.
- Move the device to its intended location, connect the HDMI cable to your display, and plug in the power. Content will play automatically.

Using with Interactive Screens
If you're using the Rise Vision Media Player with an interactive screen:
- Connect the screen to the Rise Vision Media Player using:
- An HDMI cable
- A USB cable (connect any front USB port except the blue OTG port)
