You can display a Google Slides presentation on your Rise Vision display using our pre-made Google Slides Template. This makes it easy to show slide content with a custom duration per slide.
Instructions
Step 1: Configure Google Slides
- Open Google Slides and open the file you want to show in Rise Vision.
- Click File > Share > Publish to Web.
- Click Publish and confirm to make the presentation publicly viewable.
- Copy the URL provided after publishing.
Step 2: Add Google Slides to your Presentation
- Log into Rise Vision
- Create a new presentation and select the Google Slides Template.
- Alternatively, select an existing presentation and add the Google Slides Component to the playlist.
- In the presentation, click the Slides component on the left side.
- Paste the URL you copied from Google Slides into the Google Slides URL
- Set your desired duration per slide.
- Save your Presentation and add it to a Schedule.
- The Google Slides will now show on the displays assigned to the same schedule.
Behavior Notes
- Your Google Slides must be published to the web as described in Step 1: Configure Google Slides or they will not show.
- If your display loses its network connection, Google Slides will not update until the network connection is restored.
- Rise Vision checks for updates to Google Slides every 1 hour.
