Show a Folder of Images

This guide shows you how to create a photo slideshow using a folder of images in Rise Vision. It’s a quick way to rotate through multiple photos on your Displays using a Playlist template or playlist component.

Requirements

• A Rise Vision account
• A folder of images saved in Rise Storage or on your device
• A Playlist template or playlist component

Instructions

Step 1: Choose a Playlist template

1. Go to Presentations and click Add Presentation
2. Browse for a template that supports Playlists
3. Or use the template gallery

Step 2: Add a folder of images to the Playlist

1. In the left menu, click Playlist
2. Click Add
3. Select Folder of Images & Videos

Step 3: Choose where your folder is stored

1. Storage: Select this if your images are already in a folder in Rise Storage (recommended)
2. Folder on My Device: Select this to upload a folder from your computer or phone. It will be uploaded automatically to Rise Storage

Step 4: Set the transition and duration

1. Click the folder you added to edit settings
2. Set how long each slide should appear
3. Choose a transition effect between slides

Step 5: Publish your Presentation

1. When you're ready, click Publish
2. Add your Presentation to a Schedule

Additional Playback Settings

You can use the advanced playback settings inside the Folder component to customize how your images and videos are played.

Shuffle order

If you want to play your videos and images in random order, toggle on Shuffle Order. This helps ensure your audience always sees a fresh mix of content.
