This article explains how to show a private or public Domo dashboard on your Displays.
Set Up the Domo Integration (Required for Private Dashboards)
Private Domo dashboards or public dashboard with filters require authentication. To show them on a Display, Rise Vision must be integrated with Domo using an API Client ID and Client Secret.
Create a Domo API Client
Sign in to your Domo account.
Create a new API client.
Copy the Client ID.
Copy the Client Secret.
Grand the scope Dashboard
Refer to Domo’s instructions to create an API client:
Enable the Domo Integration in Rise Vision
Go to Company Settings in your Rise Vision account
Select Company Settings.
Locate the Domo Dashboards section on the right side
Turn on Enable Domo.
Paste the Client ID into the Client ID field.
Paste the Client Secret into the Client Secret field.
Save your changes.
Add a Domo Dashboard to a Presentation
To show a Domo dashboard, you must first get the dashboard’s embed link from Domo and then add it to a Presentation using the Domo component.
Get the Domo Dashboard Embed Link
Sign in to your Domo account.
Open the dashboard you want to show.
Copy the dashboard’s embed link.
Refer to Domo’s instructions to get an embed link for public or private dashboards:
Add the Dashboard to a Rise Vision Presentation
Sign in to Rise Vision
Open an existing Presentation or create a new one.
Select Add Component.
Select Domo from the component list.
Paste the Domo embed link into the Domo URL field.
(Optional) Enter filters if required.
Save the Presentation.
Publish the Presentation and assign it to a Display using a Schedule.
Behavior Notes
Public dashboards do not require the Domo integration to be enabled.
Private dashboards require a valid Domo integration to load successfully.
If the embed link is incorrect or access is restricted, the dashboard won’t display.
