The easiest way to have your displays rotate through a series of photos is to place all the images into a folder on Rise Storage or on Google Photos and use the Playlist template to play them.
Here’s a quick video going over it:
Step 1: Pick a playlist template
Many of our templates have a spot to add a playlist of items. You can either click on “Presentations” and then “Add Presentation” to search for one you like, or use this link to view the options in our templates gallery.
Step 2: Add a folder of images to the playlist
- In the list on the left, click on “Playlist” to edit the playlist.
- Click “Add” to add a new playlist item.
- Choose “Folder Of Images”
- From here you have 3 options to choose from:
Storage: Choose this if you’ve already uploaded your images to Rise Storage and have them organized into a folder. This is the recommended way to show a slideshow.
Folder On My Device: Choose this if the images are on your computer or phone, and you haven’t uploaded them yet. Once you select a folder, it will be automatically uploaded to Rise Storage for you.
Google Photos: Choose this if you want to show an album you have hosted on Google Photos. Keep in mind that this requires giving Rise Vision access to view your photos, and will only work while you have access to the album.
Step 3: Set a transition and a duration per slide.
Once the slideshow has been added to the playlist, you can click on it to make further changes to it. You can use this to change the duration of each slide, and set a transition.
Step 4: Publish your presentation.
Once you’re done making changes, click “Publish” to add your presentation to a schedule.
