The easiest way to show upcoming events on your Rise Vision display is to use one of our Calendar templates. You can link the template to your Microsoft Outlook Calendar to have it automatically show calendar events.
This brief video goes over the process:
- Select a presentation from one of our calendar templates. Choose a presentation with "Calendar" in its name.
- To configure the calendar, click on the “Calendar” base component on the left.
- You will be given the choice of connecting to either Outlook Calendar or Google Calendar. If you’re not already signed into Microsoft, sign in to access your calendar options by clicking "Sign in with Microsoft".
- If this is the first time signing-in with Microsoft, a pop-up will appear that prompts which account to sign-in, and then to accept a permissions request. - Back in the calendar settings on the left, select the appropriate "Calendar Group" and "Outlook Calendar" from which the presentation will its event information.
- For the "Data Range", set how much time you would like the calendar to display. Note that if there are no events in that period, nothing will be shown on the calendar.
- Once you’re done making changes, click on “Publish” to add your calendar to your display.
When a change is made to your Outlook Calendar, it will sync to your display in about 5 minutes.
