Photos, logos, and promotional flyers are among the most popular types of content to show on a digital sign. Whether you already have an image you’d like to show, or you need to create something from scratch, our templates make it easy.
Here’s a quick video explaining how to use them:
Step 1: Pick a template
Many of our templates feature a place to add an image. The simplest way to get an image on your display is to start with the fullscreen image template.
Step 2: Add an image to the template
In the presentation, click on “edit” next to the image or background component.
You have three options to add the image:
Upload an image from your computer.
Click on the button that says “upload images”, and then choose any number of images from your computer to upload. All the images you choose here will be added as a slideshow, and you can set a duration for each one.
Design something new with Canva.
Click on “design with canva”, and then pick the type of content you’d like to design.
If you haven’t used Canva before, you might be prompted to log in or sign up for a free account.
From here, you can either start from scratch using Canva’s editor, or pick from hundreds of templates and graphics they provide. Note that currently, Canva's integration doesn't allow you to save animations. Once you’re done, name your image and click “Save”.

Use an image from Rise Storage.
Whether you upload an existing image or create a new one with Canva, it will be added to Rise Storage. You can then use the image again in as many presentations as you’d like.
Click on “select from storage”, and then choose any number of images to add to the presentation. Click on “add selected” when you’re done. All the images you choose here will be added as a slideshow, and you can set a duration for each one.
Step 3: Publish your presentation
Once you’re done making changes, click on the “Publish” button to add your presentation to a schedule.
