Show Weather Information

You can show current weather or a weather forecast on your digital signage using Rise Vision’s pre-made templates. 

Instructions

Set the location for your weather data

By default, your displays show weather data using the address in your Company Settings. If needed, you can override this by setting a unique address for each Display.

To update your company address:

1. Log in to your Rise Vision account
2. Click Settings on the left-hand side.
3. The address shown is the address for your Company
4. If needed, update the address and click Save

To set a different address for a Display:

1. Log in to your Rise Vision account
2. Click Displays on the left-hand side.
3. Select the Display you want to update to open its settings
4. Disable the Use Company Address toggle on the right side
5. Enter the address you want the Display to use and click Save

Add a weather template

1. Log in to your Rise Vision account
2. Click Presentations on the left-hand side.
3. Click the Add Presentation to open the template library.
4. Filter the templates to those with weather by selecting "Weather" under the Content category

5. Add the template you like best to your account
6. Customize it as needed, then add it to your Schedule

Behavior Notes

• Weather data comes from the nearest official weather station based on your Company or Display address.
• If no address is set for a Display, Rise Vision uses the Company address by default.
