Connecting a calendar is a great way to keep your audience informed about upcoming events. With the Calendar Component, you can sync and display one or more calendars from Google or Outlook.
How to Add a Calendar to a Presentation
- Log in to your Rise Vision account and open the Presentation you want to edit.
- Click on Add Component and select Calendar.
- In the properties panel on the right, click Connect.
- Choose your provider: Google or Outlook.
- Follow the prompts to log in to your account and authorize Rise Vision to access your calendar data.
- Once connected, you will see a list of available calendars. Check the box next to every calendar you want to show. You can select just one or multiple calendars to merge them into a single view.
- Click Save.

Adjust the layout
You can choose between different views like Agenda, Monthly, or Weekly in the component settings. This helps you fit the right amount of information on your screen.
Styling and colors
Use the Appearance settings to change fonts, background colors, and text sizes so the calendar matches your brand.
Behavior notes
- Automatic Updates: Your display will automatically sync with your Google or Outlook account. Any changes you make in your calendar app will appear on your display within a few minutes.
- Private Events: Events marked as "Private" in your calendar settings will not display their details on the screen; they will simply show as "Busy."
- Permissions: Ensure the account you use to connect has "View" permissions for all the calendars you want to show.

How to Grant Admin Consent in Azure Portal
- If you receive a “Need admin approval” message when signing in, your Microsoft account may require administrative consent to connect to Rise Vision.
- Go to the Azure Portal: https://portal.azure.com
- Search for and open Azure Active Directory.
- Click Enterprise Applications from the left-hand menu.
- Search for Rise Vision Incorporated:
- If listed, click on it.
- If not listed, proceed to grant consent in the next step.
- Click Permissions and then click Grant admin consent for [Your Organization].
- Review the permissions and confirm.
- If you receive a “Need admin approval” message when signing in, your Microsoft account may require administrative consent to connect to Rise Vision.
