This article shows you how to show video on your screens using a Rise Vision template. Videos can help capture attention and make your digital signage more engaging.
Add video to a presentation to show full screen
- From Presentations, select the Video Full Screen presentation template.
- Select the Fullscreen Video base component on the left panel.
- Upload your video or select an existing video from Storage.
- Configure the video options as needed:
- Video Volume: use the slider to configure the volume level when showing on your display.
- Video Subtitles: use this option if you want to include subtitles with your video.
- Click the Add Subtitles button.
- Upload the subtitles file associated with the video. Note: subtitles formatted as Video Text Tracks (.vtt) is the only format supported at this time.
- Click Publish at the top right.
Add video to a presentation to that will not be full screen
- From Presentations, select your presentation template. Any one will do.
- Click the + button next to Components.
- Select the Video component.
- Upload your video or select an existing video from Storage.
- Configure the video options as needed:
- Video Volume: use the slider to configure the volume level when showing on your display.
- Video Subtitles: use this option if you want to include subtitles with your video.
- Click the Add Subtitles button.
- Upload the subtitles file associated with the video. Note: subtitles formatted as Video Text Tracks (.vtt) is the only format supported at this time.
- Adjust the position and size of the video in the editor preview as needed.
- Click Publish at the top right.
Behavior Notes
- There is no hard file size limit, but shorter videos perform better in digital signage.
- Using the Stock Library helps you find high-quality video content without needing to upload your own.
- Subtitles formatted as Video Text Tracks (.vtt) is the only format supported at this time.
