If you are the owner of the video, here is how you can optionally force captions to be shown on the video:

- Click your user icon in the top right corner and select YouTube Studio.
- From the left-hand menu, click Content and select the video you want to update by clicking on its name.
- Scroll to the bottom of the video details page and click Show more.
- Find the Tags field and add the following tag:
yt:cc=on
- Click Save.
Behavior Notes
- The video may not auto-play in the preview, depending on your browser settings. It will auto-play on the actual display.
- Some videos or streams may not be embeddable due to YouTube content owner restrictions.
- Content owners can change settings at any time, which may affect playback.
- YouTube advertisements may appear during playback.
- If captions are available, adding
yt:cc=on
turns captions on by default for all viewers, even when the video is embedded in Rise Vision or other platforms
