Some older widgets created by third parties are no longer supported due to outdated technology/code. These deprecated widgets were originally available through the 'Blank - Legacy Editor' Template but have since been replaced by Rise Vision pre-made templates or removed entirely.

If you’re still using one of these widgets, here’s how to replace it with current options.

Widget Replacements

Weather Forecast and Mostly Sunny! Widgets

These were replaced with our modern weather templates:

• Vector Image Weather Template – great for full-screen forecasts
• Zoned Minimalist Welcome Template – shows weather with other content

Explore the whole library of weather templates by following the below steps:

1. Go to the Presentations explore tab, click the + New Presentation button to open the template library.
2. On the left, open the Content dropdown and select Weather. All presentations that feature weather will now be shown. Some templates only focus on weather, while others show weather in a sub-section of the presentation while focusing on other content.

Ticky Widget (Scrolling Ticker)

Try one of these scrolling ticker templates:

• Neumorphism Template

Facebook and Photo Feed Widgets (Google Photos, Instagram)

We can directly integrate Facebook/Instagram content, or you can use third-party content via Seenspire. Due to a change from Google Photos, we can no longer integrate with that service.

News Headlines

These can be replaced using RSS templates:

• RSS World News Template – full-screen news
• Zoned Playlist & RSS Template – combines RSS with other content

2. On the left, open the Content dropdown and select RSS. All presentations that feature RSS news will now be shown. Some templates only focus on RSS news, while others show that news in a sub-section of the presentation while focusing on other content.

Sports Scores

There’s no direct replacement, but most sports sites offer RSS feeds. Try:

Countdown and CountUp Widgets

These were replaced with event countdown templates. Most countdown templates focus on specific events, but a few can be customized with your own date/time and text. Explore the whole library of RSS templates by following the below steps:

1. Go to the Presentations explore tab, click the + New Presentation button to open the template library.
2. On the left, open the Content dropdown and select Countdown and Up. All presentations that feature a countdown or count up will now be shown.

Weather Maps

While there’s no direct map replacement, our weather templates provide current conditions and forecasts. Refer back to the earlier references weather templates.

YouTube Widget

We have a dedicated Youtube template for showing Youtube content. Refer to the other two Help Centre articles on how to use those:

Flight Monitor and Traffic Map Widgets

We don’t offer replacements for these. You can either remove them or substitute with other relevant content.
